Abstract
Autonomous Property OS proposes a new operating model for the US mortgage industry by combining agentic AI, real-time data orchestration, and governed decisioning across the full property and loan lifecycle. Instead of automating isolated tasks, the framework connects loan origination systems, appraisal and insurance platforms, servicing records, and post-close monitoring into a unified intelligence layer. Specialized agents handle borrower intake, document processing, underwriting support, collateral review, closing coordination, servicing actions, and portfolio surveillance, while governance controls preserve auditability, compliance, and human accountability for regulated decisions. The result is a transition from fragmented operational silos to a continuous, event-driven system that can manage updates, exceptions, and asset risk in real time. By extending intelligence beyond closing into servicing and portfolio monitoring, Property OS enables faster cycle times, lower operational friction, better compliance traceability, and improved borrower and asset outcomes. This white paper outlines the architecture, operating model, and implementation roadmap required for mortgage firms to evolve from legacy processing workflows to an autonomous, end-to-end property finance platform.
